Ojen is a small picturesque village, 10 km from Marbella and 65 from Malaga. The mountains around Ojén are heavily forested with oak, pine, cork trees and an area of pinsapo trees, a rare species of Mediterranean pine. The el Juanar Valley is of immense natural beauty.
Places of interests are: the Museo del Vino Malaga where, in addition to contemplating the old labels and bottles, the original still is kept. The history and flavor of the different wines of the province can be found here; the Church of the Encarnación (16th century), the Mill Museum (19th century), the Los Chorros Fountain, and the Caves of Ojén.
