Manilva is situated approximately 90 km from the Airport in Malaga. The village lies about 2 km inland next to the the coastal resort of Sabinillas and has 7 km of coastline. Manilva is 45 minutes from Marbella and about 15 minutes west of Estepona. There are two stunning beaches, El Negro and Cala de la Sardina.
Next to Manilva is the small fishing village Castillo de la Duquesa. Some remains around Manilva go back to prehistoric times, mainly to the Romans and the Moors.
The village of Manilva is surrounded by countryside and contains many vineyards that grow in the slopes around the village. In Manilva center there are numerous shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.
Places of interests in and around Manilva include: The St. Anne’s Church with its magnificent architecture and the Sabinillas Castle, Cerro del Castillo deposits, the Roman Village of Sabinillas, the Medieval deposit of Cerrillo de la Sepultura, the Almenada Tower in Punta Chullera and Duquesa Tower, and the Roman baths.
