Casares is located between Estepona and Sotogrande, some km from the coast. It’s a little sleepy village with narrow cobbled, picturesque and intricate network of steep streets.

Many shops can be found selling pottery and leather works, and other local products.

Casares is without doubt a beautiful original Spanish village perched on a hill with the typical lovely white Spanish houses with interesting architectural design. A Moorish fortress is situated on its peak. Its beauty attracts many tourists.

Places of interests are the numerous Roman ruins close by notably part of an aqueduct, together with a tiny museum displaying artifacts dating back to Roman times.
