Malaga aerial viewAlhaurín de la Torre is a town only a short drive from the Airport and 17 km from Malaga city. Alhaurin El Grande is the neighboring town. The areas origins date back to pre-historic time. Translation of Alhaurin means: Garden of Allah.

Alhaurin de la Torre is a typical Spanish town with all modern services and amenities such as bars, cafés, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, etc. The prices here are in general much cheaper than in the well know resorts on the Costa del Sol, especially compared to Marbella with its expensive high class restaurants.

The town of Alhaurin de la Torre is the right place for people, tired of the masses of people on the coast line. The town offers traditional living qualities and standards, a short drive from the beaches. Alhaurin de la Torre offers a varied choice of homes, modern and designer apartments, townhouses, villas, fincas, and cortijos. There is a new infant school. Dental and medical clinics plus the local hospital provide essential and day to day care.

The historic old church of El Alamillo dating back to 18th century is well worth a visit.
